KPS designs and delivers industrial solar and battery storage solutions in Egypt for factories, telecom sites, remote facilities and oil & gas operations. We are NREA registered and hold an NREA Silver Certificate, and we pair solar generation with long-life EnerSys storage and Victron Energy control so critical loads stay powered day and night.
NREA Silver Certificate · Authorized EnerSys distributor · ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 certified · 250+ projects delivered · 300+ clients served
Solar systems we deliver
| System type | How it works | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| On-grid | Solar supplies the site alongside the utility grid | Factories and buildings cutting daytime energy costs |
| Off-grid | Solar and batteries run the site without a grid connection | Remote telecom, monitoring and oil & gas sites |
| Hybrid | Solar, batteries and grid or generator work together | Sites with unstable grids or high fuel costs |
| Hazardous-area solar | Certified modules and Ex d enclosures for Zone 1 and Zone 2 | Oil & gas and petrochemical sites |
Battery storage for solar
Storage determines whether a solar system keeps critical loads running at night and through cloudy periods. KPS selects batteries for daily depth of discharge, cycle life and Egyptian site temperatures.
| Battery | Why it suits solar |
|---|---|
| PowerSafe OPzV | Tubular gel, deep-cycle, no water addition, 20-year design life |
| PowerSafe PV Bloc | Developed for renewable energy and solar systems |
| PowerSafe TS | Single cells for solar and renewable storage |
| PowerSafe SBS XC+ | Cyclic TPPL with carbon for frequent cycling |

NREA-certified solar company
The New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) is Egypt’s government body for renewable energy. KPS holds an NREA Silver Certificate, which gives clients and consultants a recognised reference for our solar engineering and delivery.

Solar solutions: FAQs
Is KPS an NREA-certified solar company?
Yes. KPS holds an NREA Silver Certificate from Egypt’s New and Renewable Energy Authority and is NREA registered for solar PV work.
What is the difference between on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar?
On-grid systems feed a site alongside the utility grid and have no batteries. Off-grid systems run independently on solar and batteries. Hybrid systems combine solar, batteries and the grid or a generator, so critical loads keep running during outages.
Which batteries do you use for solar storage?
KPS uses EnerSys batteries designed for cycling, such as PowerSafe OPzV, PowerSafe PV Bloc, PowerSafe TS cells and SBS XC+, selected for the daily depth of discharge and site temperature.
Can you build solar systems for hazardous areas?
Yes. For oil & gas and other classified sites, KPS designs Zone 1 and Zone 2 solar systems with certified modules and enclosures. See hazardous-area solar.
Do you provide operation and maintenance?
Yes. KPS provides commissioning, remote monitoring, preventive maintenance and battery health checks for the solar systems it delivers.
